Since Indonesia is a huge archipelago, we believe that it is much easier to vacation by a plane. But if you are living in Java, we suggest you to try the train facility. It will cost you tire a bit, but the sight is worth the sweat. We swear!

You could took the Matarmaja train, with the route of Jakarta - Bekasi - Cirebon - Solo - Semarang - Malang. Train is stopped by in each city we've mentioned so wherever you're from, you could took this train.

The ticket will cost you only IDR 50k (non-ac) or IDK 150k (ac). Arrived in Malang, you just need to take a bus cost IDR 80k until Banyuwangi, crossed the island by the big ship (yes! no extra fees), and there you go... Denpasar!

By then you could rent the car for IDR 200k /day. And we recommend you to stay at Hidden Oasis, Kuta with only IDR 600k /night, two king bed with one single bed, wi-fi, television, air conditioner, and breakfast. What else? You have Kuta as your garden!
